This week I've been all about getting things set around the house for my niece who is going to be house and pet sitting for us. The devil is in the details! I finally finished up her "user guide" yesterday and today I start placing her post-it notes (she requested ) in strategic places to help her remember passwords, etc.
We are also trying to cram Brendan's six week semester into 4 and a half weeks which is added pressure but I don't really want to burn daylight in Kauai waiting for him to writing projects. So the push is on today and tomorrow to get it finished up.
Today I need to start getting stuff packed so I'm not trying to do it all last minute. And get my Rx's and other last minute necessities picked up so we are good to go. This long lasting killer migraine I am having is not exactly cooperating with me this week but the show must go on!
However the puppies and the kitty saw me pulling out suitcases last night and their anxiety level has gone up which makes me anxious but I know my niece will do an awesome job with them so hopefully they will forgive us for abandoning them.
Less than 48 hours from now I will be sitting in the back of a limo on my way to the airport and I seriously can't sit still I am so excited.

- Yes, we are one of those hyphenated families.. as a matter of fact Brenda technically has three last names. Brenda and Charley have known each other forever. They were finally married in April 2006. We have three kids between us Brendan, Tiffany and Avery. Brendan actually lives with us. We also have an adorable grand-daughter Arianna. Besides that we have two adorable puppies Emma and Gracie and a cute kitty named Bright Eyes.
