Yesterday we went to Kilauea Lighthouse and Wildlife Refuge. You guessed it... it was kind of rainy and drizzley again. There was a beautiful overlook when you first enter the state park and the water was gorgeous.
The hillside was covered in Red Tail Boobies which are these white birds that make their nests in the trees and crevices of the canyon walls. It was pretty neat to see. I was excited because it is hump back whale season here but no luck on seeing any of them. I was bummed about that but we have 9 more days here so maybe we will get lucky still.
